Are You An Employer Of Choice?

Do candidates fight for every spot you have open? Do you have to sift through piles of resumes from highly qualified candidates when it's time to hire?

If not, what is this costing you?

If you are constantly fighting for the best candidates that puts you at a significant disadvantage. You will have to pay more and constantly be playing the game of comparing yourself to other local employers.

If you haven't heard of the Blue Ocean strategy, I highly recommend it. What the strategy says is that in business, you shouldn't try to compete in the bloody red ocean of doing things the same way as everyone else. What you should do is create such a unique approach to solving the problem your business solves, that you create a blue ocean that only you swim in.

This goes for company culture as well. To attract the best, you must differentiate your company. And culture is one of the easiest ways to do it.

What if you do have an awesome company culture? Well, how are you letting potential candidates know?

One of the best ways to do this is with social media.

Most business owners have a social media strategy for customers. But, do you have a social media strategy for potential employees?
